The paper is concerned with the application of probability theory to Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) transmission systems. We provide a theoretical formula to compute the error rate in such systems.Furthermore, analysis of this formula shows that simulation results are not reliable at high SNR. Finally, we provide an expression to compute the relative precision of the simulation results. This expression is helpful to know which simulation results are reliable and which are not.
