Encephalitozoon hellem in a patient with CD4+ T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia: case report and genomic identification.

Abstract : Five cases of microsporidioses among leukemic patients, 4 in myeloid-leukemic patients and 1 in a chronic lymphocytic leukemia, have been described until now. We report a case of microsporidiosis and the genomic identification of Encephalitozoon hellem in a patient with CD4(+) T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia.
