Quelle poésie de la sortie de guerre en Irlande du Nord ? L'exemple de "Breaking News" de Ciaran Carson (2003) et "The State of the Prisons" (2005) de Sinéad Morrissey

Abstract : This paper offers a critical reading of two collections of poetry written after 1998. Its aim is to discuss how Breaking News and The State of the Prisons respond to the political changes inaugurated by the Good Friday Agreement, and their own need for literary renewal. Although the thematic concerns of these two collections still hard back to the Troubles era, their investigation of the role of war in both history and the writing of poetry lays the basis of a post-Troubles literature.
