Welcome to the AMURE HAL collection

The Joint Research Unit AMURE (UMR 6308 - Aménagement des Usages des Ressources et des Espaces marins et littoraux), Centre de Droit et d'Economie de la Mer, was created in January 2008, through the association of teams from IFREMER's Département d'Economie Maritime and the Centre de Droit et d'Economie de la Mer at the Université de Bretagne Occidentale. Since January 2016, UMR AMURE has been associated with the CNRS Ecology and Environment Institute (InEE). The unit is a member of OSU-IUEM: Observatoire des Sciences de l'Univers - Institut Universitaire Européen de la Mer UMR AMURE's field of research is defined as the economic and legal analysis and evaluation of public policies and institutions in the fields of territorial development and maritime activities, resource exploitation and the conservation of marine and coastal ecosystems. With a team of over 60 researchers, teacher-researchers, engineers, post-docs and PhD students, UMR-AMURE is one of France's and Europe's leading centers for research and training through research into public policy issues relating to the sustainable development of maritime activities and marine and coastal areas. Its activities, conducted from an interdisciplinary perspective in marine sciences, are part of the scientific dynamic of excellence supported by Labex Mer and GIS Europôle mer.
