Straightforward and mild deprotection methods of N-mono- and N1,N7-functionalised bisaminal cyclens

Abstract : Strategic removal of the bisaminal bridge of N-mono- and N1,N7-difunctionalised cyclen glyoxal derivatives was carried out via transamination processes with vicinal diamines. These procedures were found to be particularly well-suited for cyclen targets bearing sensitive groups.
